Never Enough Nitoinimoi

I reviewed the Christian Louboutin Nitoinimoi bandage bootie earlier in the black-on-black version and I think I was almost deleriously in love because I called them something like one of the iconic looks for the early 21st century. The thing is, I’m feeling a little more sober now and I’m still inexplicably attracted to these ones–in brown and red! So it must be true love. I think the red strips look just like ribbon candy. Just in time for Christmas! (you got that Santa?). But I’ll tell you, much like sushi, these were an acquired taste. I think everyone does sort of a double-take with the Nitoinimoi (OK I’ll stop typing the name because I know you stumble on it, even when reading silently). Am I just too taken with this style–and that’s why I’d even consider–nay salivate over–this pair in brown and red? Whether you call these iconic or not, new pairs are definitely near extinction. Find these ones for $1, 205 at mytheresa.com.

2009 brought the popular and contratictory look of the peep-toe boot.

Hey! Thanks Chris from Miyakonojyo.
Zita from Takarabe.
LOVE them! (especially the red) Wish I had the figure and money to wear them… sigh….
Wow, I kind of thought I would be the only one to love them! Glad to hear I’m not alone! Thanks for the comment!
Actually, Chris, I thought Charity was the first person to comment on the blog but I just looked at the time code and it was you!! So you’ll have that distinction when Better in Boots becomes famous!
